Red Liquid Donation!>

Oh ya... Yesterday was the last day for Blood Donation organised by Singapore Red Cross Society at Victoria Junior College. It was held at the Language Room near the Scrabble Board in VJC and i went to donate my blood along with Kuok Ming, Jia Yi and Hua Lin at 9am.
At first i suspected Jia Yi of being underweight (not suitable to donate) but she's over the least requirements except that her veins cant be seen. Lol... The staff says she no veins...
Then left Kuok, Hua lin and me. We registered at the counter and proceed to the checking station afterwards. Hua Lin was rejected due to family's history? (she said) and Kuok Ming was rejected as he was sick a few days/weeks ago. =P
Then left me alone. I was feeling very dull when i went to check whether i had enough iron in my blood and i passed. Nobody was there to accompany me. But at least the staffs there are very friendly and funny lol. We chatted and joked during the "dialysis" process. (looks to me that i am taking dialysis treatment instead of donating blood haha)
Oh ya... the anaesthetic needle was quite pain at first then the nurse inserted a thick thick tubing into the hole and it was so so gross... i turned my head around not to look at it until the tube was covered up by the tape. They gave me a heart (soft toy?) to squeeze my blood out into the small empty packet (450ml).
After the whole process, i was feeling alright and acting as usual except that my writing hand, left hand, tends to shiver when i apply force on my pen. (I donate my blood with my right hand) Then i was walking out of the room when i saw Sophie. She was there too to donate blood. Haha... what a coincidence.
After a few hours, Terry and Sally went to donate blood too. In our class, only 3 of us donate, or in other words, only 3 of us CAN donate,i suppose.
PS: The iron tablet the staffs gave are nothing use. I can consume iron by my daily supplements of milk. XD

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!>

Today is our final battle. All of us were very nervous and anxious of the competition. We boarded the coach with all the things and realised that we lacked of a broadsword for competition on the way to Toa Payoh Sports Hall. Yong Chao was struggling to ask CCHMS to bring along the sword; he was standing up, looking quite nervous.
When we had reached our destination, we sat at the area behind the chief judge and that was quite a good place for us to observe the competition. At first, everybody was afraid of testing the competition ground (carpet) until a courageous group entered the area and started practising. This was when everybody started to test the carpet and crowded like sardines. We (VJC and CCHMS) were like waiting for the crowd to get lesser then we went to test the ground.
After testing of grounds was prohibited, we had our lunch (char siew rice and 100-plus). We supported CCHMS people and practised for our events when there's none of the competitor was our friend.
B-Boys attain 2 silvers; lost to Ping Yi Secondary School. I think their broadsword deserve to get gold as they are very cooperative and strong. As for the group fists, i do not think they are as good as CCHMS people. All of the CCH B-Boy can do no hand cart-wheel (che kong) but they (Ping Yi) cant. CCH was like so cooperative and their routine was fabulous. Ping Yi, in fact, won them by 0.01 but they still lost to CCHMS in "B" Division Overall Champion.
VJC A-Boys won 2 golds in the group events today. We defeated MJC and other JCs in the event today. MJC's fist got 5th and their weapon achieve 2nd. According to score, we were broke the tie and were in the lead instead. Actually, we were lucky to get the 1st today because there were errors made during our competition. For example, with hand touching the ground and forgetting stances. But this are no longer important now. At least, i did not disappoint myself and we attain gold medals for the events.
"C" Boys-1 gold, 1 silver. "B" Boys-2 silvers "B" Girls-1 gold, 1 silver. "A" Girls-2 golds. "A" Boys-2 golds. Almost half of the medals were taken up by CCHMS and VJC wushu people. When the end of competition approached, medals were presented to the winners and then.... ANNOUNCING THE OVERALL CHAMPION!
"C" Boys-Overall Champion-------------------->
"C" Girls-Overall 1st runner up---------------->
"B" Boys-Overall Champion------------------->
"B" Girls-Overall Champion-------------------> THIS IS IMBAL!
"A" Boys-Overall Champion------------------->
"A" Girls-Overall Champion------------------->

In fact, there's only 3 girls in "C" Girls and 3 of them alone were able to achieve 5 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze. They only lost to the "C" Girls Champion by 2 points. If they had enough people to participate for the Group Event and get 4th, they will be able to get overall champion and i believe CCHMS and VJC will own the whole Wushu world. I only have 3 words to describe them---"They are pros".
After they had finished with the prize presentation ceremony, we were celebrating by singing school songs, both VJC and CCHMS, doing "Yo VJC" and "Get on" cheer, and taking photos.
It was as if pandemonium broke out when we were taking pictures. We even threw Yong Chao into the air and his heart almost stopped at the 4 instances we threw him. We were intending to throw him up at the fourth time and run away, making him break his bones. *Laugh* I am only joking.
Coach Cai and Quek were so happy to see our achievements and they joined us in the chaos. We were unintending to leave the Sports Hall until badminton people came to occupy the hall.
I am proud of my school (CCHMS and VJC) today, tomorrow my school will be proud of me. (CCHMS motto). I am absolutely proud of VJC and CCHMS wushu and i love the wushu teams all!
I guess i will be jumping around madly tomorrow and i cannot imagine how Mr Tan Yew Hwee will react tomorrow. If he shows me a "of course or we should win" face, i will *censored* him...

Last training before final battle...>

Another misfortune occurred just now. Yan Jie and Jonathan from "A" Division Boys cut themselves during training and there are still careless mistakes during training. We cannot afford to lose tomorrow. We had to win Meridien Junior College and achieve the champion title. The only thing i fear is not whether we are cooperative or not but whether we will make mistakes during competition tomorrow.
I repeat, we cannot afford to make mistakes tomorrow as it will be our most crucial and final battle in order to win MJC. We are in tie with MJC and if we win 2 golds tomorrow, we will be able to attain championship. Or at least, we had give our best without any mistakes made.
It's unnecessary to worry for CCHMS and "A" Girls. "A" Girls are currently leading by far too many points. Even if they give up the competition tomorrow, they will still win the championship cup. As for CCHMS, they are quite cooperative and their styles are very amazing.
Anyway, we just hope to do our best and not to hope to get championship for the competition. CCHMS and VJC wushu! GO GO GO!

Calculations...>

The Score for "A" Division Boys is 50 points, which is equivalent to MJC "A" Boys. This makes us have a 50-50 chance to win the champion cup back.
As for "A" Division Girls, it's unnecessary to worry about them because their score now is 94 points (almost double of us). Last year, "A" girls thrash the 2nd by 30 over points, i think. This time, with the helps of 2 pros, Jie Ru and Yu Juan, we will be able to keep the "A" Girls Champion Title. Not to forget the seniors who had done very well in the competition this year. The score is much better than last year's.
According to my estimations, VJC's "A" Girls are able to get the champion title after the 3rd day annually. There's no need to compete any further except to prevent others from getting the gold medals.

Injured during training...>

Sweat, as usual, was so commonly seen on everyone's face when we had our last 2 practise before our final battle.
There's quite a number who injured ourselves during training. For example, i sprained my fingers, which are still numb now, Yong Chao injured his knee, Jonathan sprained his ankle and Chang Hong cut his hand. To tell the truth, it's quite amazing to be injured as a group. This shows that we had good team bonds with one another. *Laugh*
Moreover, i finally found my "Wushu" feeling back during competition and i guess i would be able to do my best during group competition. We will be able to snatch the champion title away from MJC and be the best Wushu JC in Singapore!

Testing the competition grounds....

Third!
>

Today is the Friday 13th. No wonder i had been experiencing bad luck for the past few days. The unfortunate timing had been pushed forward by a few days as i experience not a single unlucky thing except losing to Chen Shao and Marvel.
As expected, i could not do cut wheel without hand, "Che Kong" as named and split too. My friend told me that i lacked the fierce look at the behind part maybe because i started to be tired. Well, at least i did my best. In my individual competition, i am satisfied to be able to get 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 3 events i participated. Moreover, we were able to tie with Meridien Junior College for "A" division Boys thanks to Yong Chao and See Ann. However, our VJC "A" Division Girls owned the rest of the school as almost half of the gold medals for "A" Girls events had been taken by us, thus we had no worries for them.
Tying with MJC is not what we wanted but to be ahead of them. Therefore we had to pay 120% attention for our group events in order to win the Overall Champion Cup back. Our competition routine, "Tao Lu" was quite plain and simple with addition of some difficult stances. If we are able to be cooperative and fight as a team, as in performing in an orderly manner, we will be able to achieve champion for the group event and hence, clinching the Overall Champion for Victoria Junior College.
Good Luck! VJC and CCHMS, let's get all the overall champions back! GO GO GO!

Silver!>

Today is another day of the unlucky series. Everytime before competition, there was never once when i met nothing at all. Just now, i sat on a chair in Manjusri canteen and guess what, there's a chewing gum hidden and i ended up sitting on it. As a result, the gum sticked onto my performance pants and i had to spend half a day scrapping it off my pants. Sigh... i m getting tired of the unfortunate events.
At least i did not waste my time fruitlessly because i achieved 2nd in the competition. I am so happy! I get what i expected! Luckily there's Chief judge adjustment and give me extra 0.1 mark which cause me to rise by 1 position. A pity for Chen Shao, my opponent, as he made errors which cause deduction of 0.2. Too bad i could not catch up with Marvel, the 1st.
The "A" Boys Group Sparring was awesome. There's hardly any mistake and we expected them to attain gold medal however, they lost to some school for some reason. (Maybe the judges are bias) They achieve silver medal. So far, i think the best group sparring belongs to "A" Girls and Boys. At least we get to win MJC. Until now, we lose to MJC by 4 points in overall champion. I guess, if we win them in "A" Boys Sword and my competition get 2nd tml, we will overtake MJC and be the leading school. VJC Rocks! CCHMS too!
The most amazing event is Jie Ru's competition. Her spear achieved a score of 8.70 which was quite imbalance of the competition. It's like the best score in this year's competition.
Well, I just hope i can get the same position, 2nd for tomorrow. I will be competing in Broadsword tomorrow and i wish all the participants from VJC and CCHMS will give their best tomorrow. Good Luck!

Go VJC and CCHMS!>

Today's competition invovles quite a few people in my school (both VJC and CCHMS). Firstly, Yong Chao attained 2nd for his spear just now. He lost to Yi Liang from MJC by 0.01. What a pity. But in terms of capability, i think Yong Chao was better than Yi Liang because Yong Chao made an error just now. Not to forget See Ann, he was performing very well in the event when he made a mistake when he finished. That caused him to fall from 3rd to 5th.
Secondly, another unexpected from Jason. He competed in spear and managed to get 2nd too! Oh my goodness! He tied with the 1st with a score of 8.13 then when the judges look at the 3rd decimal place, Jason emerged 2nd. Sigh... What a pity... The good thing is that the silver medal is much nicer than the gold and i get to have another treat from him! *Smirk* By the way, he won Wei Jun in 2 events. He gave us a shock when he competed and defeat Wei Jun!
4-duan cudgel was a waste. Although i did not expect Yan Jie and Jonathan to win 1st in the event, i thought they might get top 4. What a waste when both of them almost made it to top 4.
Hui May had 2 golds; she said she had to thank her "teacher+friend", Yu Juan, for her performance. *Laugh*
The best part was the group sparring. VJC's "A" Girls group owned the event. Although they came out as champion in the competition, their score was quite near to the group in 2nd place and we thought VJC should get higher based on performance.
An unfortunate event occurred to me again today. I realised that my adidas wushu shoe was damaged and i hoped it will not hinder my performance tomorrow. I am getting hot and excited now about tomorrow's event and I hope to do my best with no errors, then i will have no worries.

Go Go VJC!>

Today is quite a fine day to me. Although i did not compete today, i went with the school bus just now so that i can get to see Zheng Jie's competition lol. As expected, he got champion and Chang Hong did me proud by losing him 2 positions! He's 3rd.
Today is quite an unfortunate day for Jon as his dao (broadsword) was unsuitable for competition. We tried various ways to make it suitable but to no avail. Finally, he borrowed a better dao from other people and almost achieve a medal with it.
"A" Division Girls had 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze and 1 4th just now. The total score today achieved for girls is 19. Suming up both yesterday and today, they had score 37 points, which is quite imbalance for a group. As for guys, well... our opponents are stronger so we only got a bronze today. Adding the score until now, "A" division boys only attain 14 points, not even half of the girls. Sigh... We have to depend on Yong Chao and See Ann tomorrow. *Laugh*
The most shocking and unexpected is Jason. Normally, his performance was quite average but today is the first time all of us see him give his best. Our jaws were half opened and he managed to get 3rd! *Laugh* Never mind, i get to have a treat from him. *Smirk*
The rest of us (VJC and CCHMS) did very well today and they deserve a round of applause. After seeing them compete, i have the itch to train for my events on Thursday and on Friday.

4th!>

Today is an unfortunate day for me. During night time, i could not catch a wink. Although i had swtich off the lights at 2300 and i ended up stoning in my bed. I was quite nervous so i ended up going to the toilet thrice in 2 hrs and getting asleep at 0230h lol.
Besides, my thumb had just recovered from the cut and i sprained my thumb again just now while practising. In addition, when i was doing leg warming-up exercise, i ended up splitting my pants and had to borrow the performance costumes from poor Chang Hong as a result. Luckily, the costume fit me nicely and also tightly.
When it was my turn to compete, i started to panic. My mind went blank at the instance and i followed my body feeling. I could not focus on what should i do correctly and what did i do wrong. I could not give all my best and my mind was confused and partially puzzled at that time. Finally, i attained a score of 8.28 and receive the 4th award. My confidence in getting 2nd had been shattered into pieces.
Moreover, i was depressed on what happened just now when Joanne came to talk to me and spilt her milo on my pants.
Sigh... Perhaps, 9 April is an unlucky day to me! But never mind, tomorrow will be a better day and the next competition for me will be a perfect one and i will aim for 2nd! Today, i was encouraged by See Ann and Yu Zhe that they believe i can attain 2nd for my cudgel. I will put in more efforts and not to disappoint those who believe in me!

Pre-Competition>

Tml is my Wushu Competition and i am feeling sick right now. I can feel the heat hanging at my forehead and a tonne of load over my head. Only half of the oxygen breathed in get into my lungs.
Moreover, i received a cut yesterday during Wushu training. And red squishy water flow out from my thumb. Haiz. Although the wound is healing now, i can still feel the needle poking at my thumb.
Perhaps, this is fate. Maybe the god do not want me to participate in the Competition. However, i will do my best and try to win medals for my school and for my friends. Obstacles like this often make me grow up to be a better person. Besides, this is not the first time being sick and injured during the Competition period. I just hope to achieve awards on behalf of the school and not disappointing my friends and school.
